They are a good price for a set of coilovers, but i probably would not get them, the spring rates are not right for the ep and a few have also said they ride pretty harsh.

I havent purchased the megan coilovers yet, but will soon. Thats the route Im going. Plus its a great price for what you get.

Thanks,
Matt

spring rates are backwards...so they are crap....

Look, the motion ratios of our suspension is .909 ft and .588 rear....the higher spring rate springs should go in the rear, not the front like skunk2 has.

they are crap also.....the spring rates are ok but the damping is junk.
what are your goals with the suspension?

progress are good for dd, so are bc rsd's if you want really stiff springs....I am running custom tuned koni's with custom spring rates on ground control coilover sleeves....but I autoX.

look for single tube dampers, double tube dampers just do not work well imo when worked hard....I also suggest you get rsx dampers because they will allow you to run rsx tie rod ends( larger and stronger).:mcool:

These coilovers are great. I do suggest getting pillowball top mounts though.. After 1 year of all season driving, my top mounts are completely destroyed and they make tons of strange grinding noises.

I dont know if you have gone over this but the ksport's seem to be very well priced for what you get. Has anyone run these? I was looking at the basic kit that is for 900. I am doing autox down the road but not for some time, which i was going to run the RR model they have.

I think on the basic coilover the spring rates are like 450 front and 420 rear or something and on the RR its like 1000 and 1000. Please give any feed back if anyone knows about these at all. Thanks

your front spring rate should be doubled from the rear almost. I have tehe BC rsd's- Ive also had tein-lasted long but they were soft. Jic's- also soft and rusted rather quick- BR bc racings' These were really nice- but the RSD's are amazing compared to them all.. Check out club rsx-you could probably find some for a grand.. The spring rates I think are 10 front 16 rear I think

Who cares you bring back old threads so you dont have to start new pointless ones. But that was very helpful info so thank you, i plan to do autox so thats y i was curious. except still enjoy driving the car on the road if i had the desire to. SO you say go with the Buddy Club RSD?

honestly the mugen suspension kit is good if you want to dd it and track it.. I just went with the coilovers for the lower appearance..

the rsd's are very nice tho!

i keep going back to the ksport GT series for some reason. They seem to be the best bang for the buck. But i havnt really come across anyone on here that has them. Seem fairly DD worth and track worthy based on comparing them to your extensive list.

Do you have a S? or just one as your avatar? My bro has one reason i was randomly asking lol

Yea currently riding on mugen ss and their pretty nice. It's good for dd but stiff enough to handle like a track car. When I take hard turns, it's barely any body roll wit them. The only thing I don't like is that i can't control the height.

But if anybody kno a good set of coils that's good for dd lmk.
