I'm trying to find this kit for the EP for the head unit im looking at...

I'd rather it be on the bottom and have the shelf on top b/c it'll be easier to access the buttons with it on the bottom

btw stole this pic from hot girls in EP3s

I dont think thats a dash kit. i think they just put in an aftermarket head unit and put an pocket from an aftermarket kit in the top.

That is the Metra 99-7898 dashkit. I use them everyday...lol.

Not only that, but I've done an install JUST like that as well. The only bad part is the gap on the right...

Yes, this is a square kit. It will leave a gap to the right.

I don't have a pic of the gap because I use the right parts for the job.

shame, it'd have been nice if we had a beveled edged kit for our radio. :mcry:

Blame Honda. Metra deals with the cards they are given.

haha I got no problems with that :mangel:

are there any metra kits for 02-04 Honda EM2's with beveled edges? You can get those to fit with very little mod and it wouldnt leave a gap right?

No.

The si kit is unique. Although the 2001-2005 civics share an angled edge, the si one is different and the kits are not interchangeable.

The 7898 dashkit will work, and to SOME people, it does'nt look that bad.

I vacuum my ep3, eg hatch, and crx twice a week, regardless of their condition. Little stuff pisses me off. Looking at a gap next to my radio would drive me insane.
