i have the eibach prokit with tokicos and i like that its dropped just a tad but not overkill. i also like not having to slow down for speedbumps or drive up driveways sideways.

i think i see most people selling their springs because they want their cars to handle better and they regret buying springs that take a dump on their handling.
Or they want coilovers.

Ive had springs before, and they did not give me the drop I wanted.

However, many people are satisfied with the drop springs give their car.

i think it also has a bit to do with tein and eibach being so popular

The drop on the teins looks very good to me...

I have Skunk2 lowering springs. They are a 2 inch drop. It's pretty slammed but I would like to go lower. 99% of the time I don't slow down for speed bumps. As for curbs, parking lot entrances/exits, I usually always have to go up at an angle.

The only reason I want full coilovers would be because they would be so much better. I would be able to slam it more, also. Then there's the bling factor.

I have teins and tokico blues, the drop is ok. I woulda liked it just a bit lower though. At least in the rear. When it dropped the car i wanted it to even out the front and rear and it didnt. It rides fine so I will reserve my final say until after i get some wheels to fill it out a lil more.

yeah i guess eibachs and tiens prolly handle a lil better but does not drop that much...

I don't think they go much lower than neuspeed race. Just wait till the back starts sagging, you will go down another inch or two.
Also, never buy used springs. Springs tend to sag after awhile (really not too long for aftermarket apparently) and then people change them out and then sometimes are sold to other people. Teins and Eibachs are notoriously bad for sagging. H&R has a great rep for not.

nuespeeds sag pretty fast, and they handle badly, too soft and that leaves the car in bad shape for any bumps in the road. had them, got rid of them and cut them all so they couldnt be used again for anything, thats how I feel about them. so I guess, i wan not satisfied with just nuespeed springs. my stock RSX-S springs with GR-2 shocks up from and blues on the rear is a WONDERFULL combo though, corners great with just a little body lean and bumps in the corners dont upset everything

I had springs on stock struts once. Once. I'll never do it again.
