I've had both. Right now I'm stuck with XM because both my current Hondas came with it. I definitely prefer Sirius, but not for Stern... not sure what a bubba mark is but I don't have one of those either...

When I was in the car a lot, traveling through mulitiple states in the course of a day, I enjoyed listening to the Jay Thomas show every day, and I feel like the music stations were better, but it may be a toss-up. I do recall that if you listened to one station for too long, you could start to see a pattern (i.e. play list), just like any other radio station, except instead of the top hits, it would be some random song from a well-known band, but that would be the only one they would play. A bit agrivating. In the end, when my xm expires, I'm just going back to cd's and regular radio, since I'm not spending as much time in the car and I'm usually in range of my favorite radio station.

I know where your coming from with the playlists on the stations I know when I listen to 24 Lithum which is 90's alternative and grunge they play basically the same major songs of the decade everyday
