Opinion on Ram Air Intake?

Just wondering on your opinions on this i kno its not quality but im broke as a joke.
do u think that intake will make me throw a CEL?
Also my friend bought a ebay intake and it doesnt even give the car any good sucking sound do you think this one will?

i have an ebayish SRI for the winter when it rains.. i swap it with my CAI.. the ebay SRi does it's job. i can feel a difference, granted it's not leaps and bounds, but you feel a difference and it still sounds good. it's your call to get it though, i would just gut the stock airbox. i think there's a DIY floating around here somewhere...

edit: as long as there's a port for the sensor it shouldn't throw a cell...

LOl Are u just looking for sound? You can get it then mate the ebay piping with a high quality filter (ie. K&N, AEM, Injen, etc...) and you got yourself a good intake.

1) If you know it's a POS then wait and save until you can afford a good intake. Do it right the first time and you'll save money in the long run.

I think the OP is trying to say he would like his civic not to sound like a dustbuster! Anyhow, get a used intake off the classifieds here or do the ebay pipe with KN filter. Welcome to the hatch.

If I were you, I would just mod the stock airbox and until you can afford a cai (used = $vary, new = +$230ish)

the only suckin sound your gonna hear on a k20a3 is when u shut the car off. i have a short ram (aem) and an injen cai im willing to part with.
