should i get a set of GCs? someone told me they will blow my stock shock, is this true? How low or how high can they actually be adjusted? I need ride height for when the snow comes, would regular lowering springs make for a sled in the snow?----peace

I vote no. Not with stock shocks. You'll end up doing the install again with new shocks.:(

Oh yeah that's true. Stock shocks are fine.
Do it. Twice.

Stock shocks will blow out at some point if you're lowered on GC's. Simple as that. I had them on my 99 EX coupe and my shocks were starting to go when I got rid of it. I had the GC's on for over 28k miles though, so you may be lucky like I was, or you might get bad luck and they blow out immediately. It's just a safer bet to get shocks too.

Or don't drive with them all the way down (3") all the time. The lower they are the shorter the life on bumpy roads
