Got a new shipment of goodies boys's & girls. Due to the Price inflation of a lot of the Japanese spec products i thought this would be the best time to stock up...And thought this would be the end as well.. SInce im fortunate to have a few friends in this industry to look out for me and Give me a heads up on whats gonna get discontinued and whats gonna go up i thought I'd make this my goodbye to the EP build and just collect the parts I always wanted and say Goodbye..

SO first I called Kingmotorsports to get me this Cage for HIN. Scott then told me theres no way he could get it to me in less than a month since this is a oversize Item and would take over 2 months since it would sit on a boat. Then told me it wouldnt fit the USDM EP's w out major modifications. Laughed INside as i know all about fabrication since this is what kept me going.. SO thought Hmmm 2 months i cant go to this show w out having everything i wanted. Thought about it went to a few sources. Next thing got a text from my Mugen SOurce "I can get u the Cage in 2 weeks via air freight might cost you a arm and leg just give me the OK and it will get done" replied and he then Called M-tec Japan and was told that this would be the 1st Mugen Race Cage made by the Honda ONe Make Race Asscociation to be Sent to the U.S. so if ne of you have seen 1 please let me know so i can call them out on it. =)

Got a bunch of other crap but this is pretty much what made me start this thread again. Felt like it was the missing puzzle to my collection... and here it is.

None of this would be Possible w out the blessed few i have in this industry to Help me make this all work, Including Jeff Miller From JMI Motoring and Sean @ Status Racing. Waiting for the FIA'd 1 Of Kevlar seats to be made to accomadate the interior.

Thanks for the concern fella's Yea no worries havent driven this car in months its just the joy of attaining these parts and the treassure hunt for me. Why i said goodbye to the EP as in parts after HIN, wanted to just collect the parts I always wanted growing up in the scene that i couldnt attain. Also wanted to do what couldnt be done ie "that wont fit its not made for that car" "you wont be able to use that bar theres no way w the resevoirs and lines in the way".. Probly gonna store it w a cover after and get on w life. Take to a few track events, enjoy it for what It is and move on w life. HOnestly i only like driving this car on days i feel like. Stiff, Loud, noisy gotta worry where u park... Yea not really the best choice to drive in when your trying to go out and just enjoy dinner and a movie w a lady...

Ha ha ha ha. Mel is the man! I thought about moving the reservoir forward too to fit the strut bar, but never felt like doing it. The guy that got you the cage can probably get you the CTR rails. The last time me and Dom check, it was $400USD from the factory in Japan. You can also call a custom fabricator to fab up the seat rails for you.

Hahah u made it sound easy, on top of all that if u have a factory motor the AC lines in the way so gotta rip out AC, then the vacuum hose for the brakes, extended the hoses for the resevoirs. Then re bleed ur whole system. On top of grinding the plastic pieces on the cowl to fit like it was meant to be there. Might be missing some other steps on top of that. But yup that's some of em! Just to fit a strut bar.. Then buy the 350 dollar bar.

Yea I could've had my fabricator welded me a 15 point roll cage but that wasn't the point to me that was too easy, that Mugen Cage bro is the only 1 in the country... and bought it just to hack up so it fits like it was in a CTR while running all factory Interior pieces like the rear seats. Wasn't worried about the safety issue since I rarely drive this car. Moon Si daily his Yellow bee and has no problems =). Plus I wanted to collect every Mugen Part available for EP or DC5 and if it doesn't fit Making it fit...

Not to sell got the 02 OEM ctr settup in the collection tho. Want to be able to just switch bumpers and not have to deal w the hassle of taking off lips, y i purchased new bumpers for each lips, new bumper is missing the duct so thats the next search to match the Airwalker Lip even tho i hate it but thats the missing bastard child of the brothers. Dont like the 04 settup's but can get u 1 if u like either complete kit or in peices, JDM Or mugen which ever u prefer.

I threw up a want to trade in the classifieds, usdm front bumper rebar and HFP lip + 100 bucks for jdm rebar bumper/lip and grill, 04-05 strictly speaking.. Threw in my carbon fiber hood too cause im bored of it.

Im sure i could sell the parts seperately and get the money for them but that takes time and i dont wanna be driving around bumperless for however long so Im mainly lookin for trades, if i ever do get money though I might let you know, depending on if showstoppers usa is cheaper.

Rotors Are DC5 SPec. Thanks for the comments guy's just wanted to show you updated pictures of the parts on the ep, then ill actually take real pictures w a photographer when i feel satisfied w/ the vehicle. All pictures including member's ride thread have been taken with my camera phone :mcry:

IT' ok that motors a capital A common BIll you should already be able to tell by looking @ the Manifold! thats a RBC sweetheart, gonna be running a Custom Turbo from Full Race. so well see how that go's. rippin out the Front bumpers already for JDM one's along w the Bellvue HOnda plates it came with. Girl size & offset wheels, i purchased these Volks a while back there 17x7.5 and a 43 offset so i used a 30mm spacer up front and a 20 in the rear to bring them out where they should be. If i could go back i would definitely go a wider wheel and a lower offset... Ordered a new set of VOlks in april 2 bad they wont be here b4 HIN so i went w a wider set on that and a 33 offset
