so i noticed on my projectors that the inside of my headlights seem to be burning the plastic, the clear plastic btw. this happened on my oem 02-03 headlights which is why i upgraded to projectors to begin with. do any of you guys with projectors have this going on?

i dont think silverstars are increased wattage, but if they are that could be the problem.

i think my only way to fix it is to open it up and sand it down and polish it

silverstars are a lower wattage (55 I believe), so they shouldn't be burning anything? But yeah, I've been hearing worse and worse things about silverstars, try out the PIAA super white plus', They are expensive but the best halogen replacement by far
