Ok kinda freakin me out but I have the skunk2 pro coil s coil overs. Every time I turn the wheel to lock to either side I get a little knock. Does this happen with all the full coil over suspensions?

check the spring, it could be binding up.

Well that is very true, it is the type where it has the little compliance spring on top then the heavy thick racing spring on the bottom with the plastic seperator between the springs.

i had that same problem, no matter what i did it came back. then i used some waterproof grease and placed a thin coat on the top and bottom of the spring and it went away, it only now happens when one of the corners are not being pushed down (ie. going up a driveway).

is it more of a pinging noise ?

Do you remember what kind of grease that was because now I really want to get some, and lube it up real nice like.

any grease will work, i used supertech all purpose from walmart, but i would get some kind of marine grease as they are less likely was wash away fast.

Ok then, so should I put the grease on every mounting surface the springs are touching?

yeah, just put some on your finger and smear a thin coat of it on the top and bottom of the spring. dont put a whole bunch because it will look like a mess, little bit will do. just be sure to clean off any rocks or dirt first
