she's been through a lot and there is more soon to come, but here she is...

got her brand new in 2005. had a turbo'd a3 (greddy kit). that blew so i swapped in a 2004 k20a2 that only had 5k on it when i got. had stage I cams, stage II cams. then my timing chain snapped while going 80mph...yea it sucked. (my engine setup was at that time was, skunk2 stage II cams, skunk2 pro-series valve springs, skunk2 Ti retainers, skunk2 exhaust cam gear) i also went thru 6 tct's and 2 of those were toda's while i had the stage I and II cams. so i had to pull the head and luckily no damage to the pistons, although some valve were SLIGHTLY bent so i got new oem valves and had them installed. put her all back together with the mods in my sig and dyno'd at 226whp and 161wtq.

Should be in between xmas and new years. chunky and i will be doing the install.

I really like your car bro. You pretty much have everything covered and I couldn't think of much else to do except for some exterior stuff. Have you thought about maybe some ctr projectors or a f & r lip? That would be the icing on the cake. Just a suggestion though, your ep looks hot the way it is to be honest.

Cool. Yeah, those depo ones look just like the ctr ones(except for the honeycomb part), and half the price. I was thinking about getting those too :thumbu:

Looks good as always! I agree with the JDM sac schwingin... more should come into play than having the rarest of JDM parts. Not that i dont dig JDM... i love it. cow- never said i had or tried.

tallblondkid- i have covered all aspects of my car. I just focused more on cosmetics right now. It's just easier to pick the more visually appealing car when all we have to go on is pictures in this contest. I just don't understand why motor holds so much more value to some people. I understand if you can't justify a 2200 bodykit, but why spend 5k on motor build when we are all ultimately bound by the laws. Even excessive acceleration is against the law. Do you condone breaking the law? Or do you justify your 5k on motor on the at best weekly trip to the track? I know looks are subjective, but trying to be so fast is childish when 90% of the time its illegal to actually enjoy it.

Nothing personal, just my .02cents. Sorry for the threadjack sam.
