Hey is their a huge difference between the 02-03 and 04-05. Because i bought a kit that said 02-05 and it matchs the holes for the car. but the curve of the fender and rear quarter panel doesnt. And the seller will not respond so i think im screwed

like i said in your thread it is the right kit

just a shitty one that needs extensive fitment to work

i too bought one of these kits and guess where it sits

who did get it from?

craigslist. Im an idiot for buying it. But i kinda trusted the guy because we have talked before. He totaled his ep and had the kit in his garage. Sold it to me and I didnt even pay attention. Now the dude wont answer my email.

it was probably in his garage because it didn't fit his car either

Did you go to his garage to pick it up?

In other words, do you know where he lives?

Most all body kits need a fair amount of fitment, except for HFP. The cheaper the kit the more fitment that will be required to get a semi-decent fit.

exactly.

What style kit was it btw? Looking at your avatar, im assuming a buddy club style kit?

Yeah we met up at walmart. It is the buddy club. he gave me his order form from NOPI and Im rasing hell to them since its only a few months old. But no disclosure on the not fitting your car... Im installing my new hood right now and im gonna moc up the bumper and see how far off it is. Hope to post a picture soon. If i can fix it with my dremal i will be happy. if not I will learn a lesson but it was only a 150 dollar lesson. not bad to learn buyer beware.

okay i have hope. not much but a little. So far i have to say the kit is for my car. Now im having to cut the support under the headlight by half. 1/2 inch too long. As i said not much hope. Now for the square vs oval. Looks like im ganna have to reinforce that corner with a ton of fiberglass and bondo. Once it hardens the use my dremal to make the corner. Im gonna win this battle. Before i do this should i do a write up for how to fix a cheap ass body kit that someone sold you and you had no clue.

and pics coming soon

Yes!!!

P.S. If you are going to the MD BBQ I have a spare BC3 front bumper I may be able to donate if you can't seem to get this one to fit. But only if you can't get this one to fit.

Now here is the bumper.

Now look at the angles and how it looks wayyyyyyyy different.

Now under the headlight is the first problem. My bumper is to long to fit under the light . so i need to cut the piece on the bumper to fix.

If you look at the bumper you can see the cut line. Sorry for the bad quality.

got real lucky with mine. It was brand new in box. the guy had bought his car from a friend didnt know it was 7 months behind on payments and got repoed 2 months after owning. He has been trying to sell this hood for 5 months. It has a Seibon plate on it so looks like i saved 400 bucks from what i see online. I guess its Karma get a great deal for a hood then get screwed on the kit.:mcry:

Thursday Im gonna focus on the headlight support piece. After I do that I will evaluate the situation again.

At first I wasnt to thrilled with the hood. Only saw it as a trade opportunity and nothing else. Put it on the car and it looks sweet. I do like the other one that has the reverse cowl on it. i would of preferd it at the time because its a safe hood to go with. but this hood is awesome in person.
