Just swapped to the K20A2, but I haven't got a reverse. How do I notch the shifter block to get a reverse?

i've read that if you install the Buddy Club Short shift you don't have to notch the shifter block. what year is your ep?

2004. I've heard the 02-03 assembly don't require to be cut. But I can't source that or a BCSS by Saturday.

I modded my shifter at first when I had the swap but eventually just got a BCSS. (better by 10000000000x)

I was wondering if using an EP3 tranny would work properly with a 6 speed shifter block. I think it should but was wanting to hear from someone else. I was going to go with a 6 speed but things have changed.

I can't say for certain, but you should save your money and go with the six speed. Additionally, the modification to the 5 speed shifter was only good temporarily. I eventually bought the Buddy Club Short Shifter and it was way better. Surprised to see this thread revived after so many years! hahaha
