just wanted to introduce myself,

I am on the board but do not drive an EP3 but drive car in which uses EP3 parts..

I drive a 02 Acura 1.7 EL, nothing major done to it but looking to do a couple of things using EP3 parts, mind you this is my daily driver, I have another toy but its not an import known to be modded.

those things are Lowering springs (to avoid the infamous rear sag and stiffer spring rate for a tad bit more better handling)

+ Tokico D-spec shocks.

&

hopefully find EP3 rear calipers and rotors (4X100) for the sake of easier to find rear brake pads and rotors.

mods already done to the car are, DIY Black housing headlights, OEM Honda Carbon fibre center dash surround, K&N drop in filter into OEM air box, 4300K Hid's, and of course a simple CD-player and 4 speakers.

Suspension wise, the car has the RSX Type-S Rear sway w/ stock RSX rear-endlinks, rear-strut bar & lower tie bar

car is sitll on its OEM rims/tires

thanks for reading

The other toy is this,

2006 Mazda3, mostly suspenion mods:

OEM MazdaSpeed3 front sway = 27mm
Hotchkis Rear-sway bar = 32mm

225/45/17 Federal tires on Rota Subzero 17X7.5

Custom cold air intake w/ BPI Flowstack

thats all, nothing crazy but its all built for function...

thanks for the welcome : )

i dont believe so...

The EL was completely redesigned in 2000 (as a 2001 model) and was based on the seventh generation Civic. In addition to the slightly more powerful and torquier VTEC-equipped 1.7 L 4-cylinder SOHC engine (badging correspondingly changed to Acura 1.7EL; engine size was dropped from the model name for 2004) with 127 hp (95 kW), distinctive headlight and taillight designs and available leather interior trimmings noticeably set it apart from the Civic. Other differences include 15” multi-spoke alloys, heated power mirrors, cruise control, and rear disc brakes.

The second generation EL was available in two trims levels - touring and premium. The latter added leather seats, heated front seats and a power sunroof. In 2003, a four wheel anti-lock braking system was made standard for all models. For 2003 and 2004 a special dealer-installed 'aero package' was made available for both trims levels which added unique front and rear lips, side stills and a rear spoiler. In 2004, the EL underwent a slight exterior makeover with restyled headlamps, front bumper and grille, rear taillights, trunklid, and rear bumper. The new sportier look came with standard fog lights, a restyled steering wheel, new woodgrain trim patterns, and two additional tweeters to complete the 6-speaker audio system.

The Acura EL was replaced for the 2006 model year by the Acura CSX, based on the redesigned 2006 Honda Civic. Like the EL, the CSX is available only in Canada
