Got some new bars.

I installed some new bars. honestly they didn't do anything performance wise. But I knew that before hand, and I only bought them for looks. :mredface:

lol jk, not doubting you but I'm just saying I didn't feel any difference, and I can't think how a hollow bar that i can pull with my hands and have it flex do anything to a car. just my opinion.

Because the pressure it's holding is from a different direction... if it needed to hold that kind of force, your chassis would be really twisted already.

Why would you use the cusco bars with side airbags?? I don't know about you but im pretty sure thats not really safe.

+1, isn't the side airbag off light on now? mine freaks out when i put my hands on the door let alone some big fucking bars blocking it.

yeah the bar can bend but try and compress it length wise and it's not gonna happen. thats how it's used on our car.

I see ur point. I know 3 ppl with cpillar bars that don't feel shit. it may just be we dd or cars, and I never do crazy turns to notice the difference.

i've a couple of bars recently so ive been doing alot of high speed cornering to see how the car feels. i'm lovin how much better she corners. i just got the v-brace. i cant wait to get it installed and test it out.

yea see I'm sure it's the combination of the bars. I had progress rear sway but had to take it off due to exhaust clearance with the apexi ws2.

But dman the vbrace would be sick!

Yea, but what can you do? I'm sure u have mods that are a waste of money too (Unless u are stock), I have enough performance mods (Cams, Kpro, rbc mani, buddy club rh, apexi ws2, rc 440s, k24a1 head), show mods (JDM Bumper, 02-03 Mugen lip, mb wheels, red H's, mugen cf hood, type r spoiler, 04-05 EDM Projector lights), or did I waste money on those too?

I get ur point about function > form, but shit I'm not going to lie, I dont' want to drive a stock looking ep3 even if it had all the function>form mods on there. It's my car, and I want to go fast, handle great and still have the exterior/interior appeal. Stock ep3 honestly doesnt' look to good to my eyes.

I clearly stated in the first post they didn't do anything performacne wise, so it's clear I bought it for the appearance appeal. So for the purpose to why I bought it, it's not a waste cos I bought it cos I like the way it looks and it does that.

any civic si that came with them, it was an option from the factory that my car came with and no longer has.
So i've got stickers that say side airbags and stuff and a stuipid dashboard light.

Actually the front is very easy cos u can use the bar to pull and push urself as u get out. The back seat, yea it's a lil harder but ppl still went to the back and they didn't complain horribly.
