been seein a few posts of people painting their valve covers, so yesterday i was bored as hell, thought "hey, this will give me something to do" lol. so i went to advance auto, picked up some dupli-color heat resistant gold paint and some clear. it went from red to gold
sorry, crappy cell phone picks, i will get some better ones tonight

before: dull ass red

yea i was thinkin about it. and as for how i did it.

it was previously red and it had a decent finish (no deep scratches etc). i clean it all off wtih "spray nine" and let it dry in the sun for 20min(it was pretty hot lol). then i used 800grit auto sand paper (got it and everything at advance auto) and just lightly sanded the surface, washed it off. then i applied to gold in 3 decent layers. let it dry then did i can't remember how many layers of clear lol i used the rest of the half can i had laying around
