Looking into doing a k20a swap into 2002 ep3

I have been doing some reading on this swap and i have a few questions.

Parts wise as far as i know i need;
engine
tranny
harness
ecu

Q: is the engine and tranny straight drop in? do i need axles? Is engine harness plug and play as in (no cutting and sodering)? What do i do with the imobilizer?

You can use your stock axles. You need to use your ep3 crank pulley. Use a BMW 740 Pulley. Your best bet is use your stock EP3 ecu with k-pro. You can also use your JDM K20A ecu with some modifications to it. Good Luck.
Get a Buddyclub Short Shifter as well.

Why would he need to mod the K20A ECU if he had the K20A engine harness?

for emissions, i believe...i don't think they are obdII....i could be wrong and sounding like a retard lol
