The project kics are the only ones I think can't be stolen easily. Everything else is fair game.

They better be hard to steal for $200+ a set.

I hate to tell you this, but all you need is a 17mm deep socket to remove the Project Kics lug nuts and a 12pt. 16mm deep socket to remove the key.

my lug nuts could be removed if you had the key or some big ass vicegrips, but they're torqued on at like 300lb/ft so thatd be a bitch. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v427/Kelbane/lugs.jpg
they're 7 point indented thingys.

300ft/lb LOL. Are you serious? Don't be mad when you snap a stud off.

your lugs are a simple thinwall spine key.. the tire shop i work at has about 10 of these keys.. but just anyone obtaining one is very unlikely.. any lugnuts are steal-able, it's just finding the ones that are a b!tch to steal. gorilla locks are the hardest to break off, trust me.. when people forget or lose their keys, we have a lock remover tool and gorilla's are a pain.. rays are also difficult because not many 17mm sockets come in 1/2'' drives. your stuff should be pretty safe but if someone wants your stuff their gona get it. i remember one member before the crash said he had a different set of wheel locks for each wheel. if i had baller shit this is what i'd do..

edit: back on topic, op, the red one will eventually fade, but so will the black ones, it's just the faded black looks better than faded pink

I can vouch for the Muteki black lug nuts, mine are 3 years old and still black and no chippage. However if you buy the red/blue Muteki lug nuts....the color chips off....so stick with the black ones and or the chrome ones. If you want some "bling", cop the muteki neon chrome...these fuckers dont chip/fade. (i had the neon chrome lugs for a 6 months with no issues then sold them to a friend, i see his ride once a month and it still looks the same. :)

I'd put 4 different ones on each wheel
instead of 4 of the same, but different for each wheel
cause they might get one wheel off and then be like FUCK and just screw up your car
if they got to the first wheel and saw four different kinds of lugs they might just go to the next car.

If pink bothers you find a local coating house that does anodizing. The rays lugs are just cheapo aluminum IIRC. Have them stripped and replated to the color of your choice.
