About 3 weeks ago my driver door locks started acting funny.
It would work some days and would not another. It sounds like the motor is out of battery so to speak. The lock slightly goes up but not all the way, then goes back down. Like a drained R/C car trying to turn the wheels while the battery is low.

This happens with the remote and unlocking from the inside.

Also, would warranty cover this?

Your door lock actuator crapped out. P/U a new one @ the dealer or online & problem solved.

Would it be free or will I have to pay? If paying, how much will it cost?

depends on your mileage or age warranty is 3years or 36k miles whichever comes first

call them for pricing. probably two hours labor to put it in.

r and r door panel and r and r actuator = probably two labor hours

The actuator for the driver's side is part number 72155-S5A-A01, and the actuator for the passenger's side is part number 72115-S5A-003.

Yeah, it should be less then $40. Very easy to do yourself. The space is just a little tight.

In Edmonton...I bought from the dealer and it was $80. Pretty pricey and it was a PIA to install.

i had 2 doors crapped out. i got them fixed for one bill. so im guessing 50 bucks per door. that's parts and labor. just bring it to any good alarm installer.
