Because you have to get the key for the ep's made at the dealers... Are they any more theft-proff, or will real car jackers get past that no problem? Just a thought. -jon

The true profesionals will more than likely get your car no matter what if they want it that bad, but the key is just one more safety feature thats kind of cool to have to scare away the small timers. Didnt you ever see Gone in 60 seconds ....lol j/k:D

Yeah I've seen it.. But I asked because I don't think a professional of that caliber would go after a Honda... I'm just worried cause back in 2001 alot of '00 Si Coupes were stolen by some ghetto fools in my apartment complex... I live in the 'burbs now, but you never know.. That's why I asked.

with the key its nice to have that extra security, but i have a feeling they're easy to bypass

The EPs are the first SI's to come with the keys like ours. All of my buddies have that same basic generic key. Just thought you would like to know.

All you need is a resistor of the correct resistance to disable the immobilizer system.
