if what your saying is the ecu the same then i would say...

1 arnt the harness different on those particular cars?
2. if you have kpro and getting a rsx why no keep it and swap the harness

if i got this all wrong im sorry but i couldnt understand your post too well.

i wish i could be more helpful, but i am not 100% sure what years are compatible. you can use the 02-04 Type-S ECU with the EP harness, but the newer models are different and i think cannot be used.

someone will more than likely chime in, so i hth a little.

i have the older type-s ecu with type-s harness, but kpro.

02-04 are not the same as 05-06, also its cheaper to kpro the 02/04 ecu. I wouldnt do it, if I was you.

Guys, he isn't talking about Kpro'ing an RSX ECU, he has a Kpro'ed ECU that he wants to trade for an RSX ECU.

If it's from a Type-S, then your car won't run on the new ECU. I'm not sure about a base RSX ECU, but I have a feeling certain features (such as the dual-runner IM) on the ECU but not the car would trip a CEL.
