View Full Version : What do your cars rev at when going 120 km/h?
I've been noticing that my ep is revving pretty high when i'm on the highway. I was wondering what the revs are for everyone else when your on the highway @ about 120 km/h......sorry, not sure what that's in mph.
about 4000 rpms at 120 km/hr, or so. This can't change, unless you've changed the size of your wheels or played with the tranny gearing.
do find that it is about 1k higher than most other cars? i've compared it to a '93 accord, a 2002 accord, and a 96 camry, and all of those revved at about 3000 rpm at 120

Don't forget, it's a sporty car. Performance geared transmission.

My old Grand Prix chugged along at about 2400rpm at 120km/h, and it still was not as smooth as the SiR.
If it makes you feel better my brother's Olds Aurora revs at about 3500rpm in a big 4.0L V-8. Its really fun to watch the gas gauge go down!
