Picked the car up a couple of weeks back. I just had a chance today to thoroughly clean the car so I figured I'd take some pics. The car needs clay bar'd something fierce. Unfortunately the ridiculous heat is preventing me from doing it. So far I LOVE the car. Traded my 2000 Pontiac Trans Am for it. Missing the gobs of torque a bit, but otherwise the car makes me smile every time I drive it.

I have some little goodies coming this week from site vendors. My biggest dilemma is what wheels to get.

So here's the low down on Casper.:tehehe:

nice, i like the wheels you have on there...just need a nice hfp kit on there to make it stand out. Also looks like someone repainted the front bumper since your lower grille is supposed to be black

The car looks like it's had some work done to it. Of course carfax shows it as being clean. That's good to know about the grille supposed to be black. I guess I'll have to paint it black to match the foglights I just ordered. I'm not big on lip kits, or body kits. I honestly like the body how it is.

Thanks for the props!

What motivated you to trade a 2000 trans am in on a ep3? I wanted a 2000-2002 trans am more than ANYTHING but insurance prohibited me from doing so, so I settled for a 05 si. And when I mean settled, I am still pissed.

I don't have the need to go fast anymore. My TA was a nice car but it was auto. It was a solid 12 second car all motor, some spray and who knows. It was my 3rd LS1 powered vehicle so I've been there done that. Insurance is only $20 cheaper a year for the EP as well lol.

It was time for something new and more suitable for my current situation. My wife really didn't like driving the TA, and I refused to let my dogs in it. This is my 6th car this year so hopefully I like it enough to keep it a while.

Traded my Trans Am for it. I'm glad I went with this one because I love how good white looks.

Put polished slipstreams on it today: (need a real camera)

Thanks bro, you were truly my inspiration. Once I get a better camera (instead of my phone) I'll take some real pics. I have other little goodies coming this week still. I'd prefer a bigger tire than what's on it, but it'll do for now.

I appreciate the kind words from everyone. This site has really helped me get over the Honda stereotype.

Update time:
Car has a JRSC-R kit now with Kpro. Has the 4" pulley currently but there's a 3.8" on the way from Pulley Boys.:mcool: I guess next up is a real exhaust, race header, and dyno tune. If that doesn't do it I'll probably throw a small shot of nitrous on top. I figure once it pops I can justify the A2 to the wife:tehehe:

a lot of people hate that look, but i dig it. are the tabs on the film there to make it easier to position/remove, and also, about how much did you pay for yours?

The tabs are from me not trimming them yet. I had just installed them. I need to take new pics with my XSi. They were like $60 from corsport. I didn't want to spend a ton of money on JDM lights, and not that many people on here have the yellow. I like em.

What a difference a set of rims and a good camara can do to a car.
Looks good.
Not a big fan of the yellow lamin-x film on the head lights, but to each his own.
