Hey guys! Don't have a car, yet, but hope to have an EP3 as a first car. Dont't have my license, or permit for that matter, but the time will come soon. For a long time i wanted a Mini Cooper as a first car, but my dad has Honda's, and i have always liked Si's, so i decided to look into 02-05 Si's.

Good choice though, just do ur homework here on what you'll need to help your EP stand out and perform better and u'll enjoy it alot better. Welcome to the site though! Do u have ne plans for it or are u just going to use it for D.D.?

Welcome to the site.

The Cooper-S is a better car. If you're choosing between the two, go with the Mini.

To me, a Minicooper-S says, "I know cars & I'm comfortable that you may make jokes, because frankly, I'm better than you.

Yet it would dominate your Si in any competitive race.

Go you.

Well I dont race it, even when I drove - I only used it as a daily driver. So that factor doesn't add much to any arguement.

Never lost my license, just to young to have one...

The thing that makes the Si a better choice is that the closest mini dealer is an hour and a half away, and the honda dealer is just down the street.

you shouldn't pick a car based on the proximity of a dealership.

what if that was a Lambo dealership down the street and the Honda was an hour and a half away? lol

however, if you live near a Lambo shop, then i doubt you are worried about money.

hahahaha.

The Civic i actually like a little better, and if i got a mini, it wouldnt be an s...

I've pretty much grown up with honda's as well, so i like them a bit better.
