ahaha I know the car isn't stock in that pics, its an old pic from last summer. I can assure everyone that the car is CURRENTLY 100% bone stock. I took everything off the car. Rims have been sold. Bodykit is hanging in the garage..

u runnin an a2 or a head?

I'm running a stock port K24a1 head with type s rocker assembly. The CRV head will give me more meat in the low-mid range and just as much as the a2 in the top range.

nice....thats gona sound MEAN. my buddy has an a1 with a similar setup as u, minus the junk2 cams (i hate those fuckin cams, almost KILLED my car :mmad: lol) he has brian crower stage II's. and it sounds like a beast. with the rocker arms locked, it pulls like no vaccum so it sounds like it has a vaccum leak (when it doesn't) his shit runs 12.20's @ 118mph...FAST!

Yes its a DTR/SSR K24 specific.

I actually haven't decided whether or not to run the type s rocker assembly. I might just run single lobe rockers on both sides

BTW those aren't Skunk2 cams. They are Toda Spec A3's. :mtongue:

Beautiful car. Good luck with the build. Keep the updates coming. Interested to see what kinda power that K24 bottom end will put out. Also, what compression are those pistons?

Will replacing the rockers give you the a2's 3-lobe vtec?

Nice build. Give us a parts list :mwink:

They are 87.5mm 12.5:1 CP's:mangel:

Also just wanted to share a pic of what Canada does to coilovers. Recently took off my Tein Flex to send them back, they needed some TLC and a rebuild..

The full 02-03 CTR kit will be installed after I get a paint job :mwink:

I actually had to cut the tie rod ends off because they were just spinning inside the balljoint...lol.. The reason I'm not getting new coilovers, money. $2000 coilovers vs. a few hundred for the rebuild.. It's just not feasable at this time..I really do like how these Tein Flex perform for DD and limited track use. Maybe once I hit the jackpot I'll score some Motons and turn this thing into a Time Attack car :tehehyper:

Thanks! I'm not looking for max whp with this build. I'm aiming for more reliability and if possible decent mpg. I would be happy to see around 260 whp though  I'm pretty sure that I can break into the 300's with a more aggressive cam, head work, and a better induction system (itb's??). But that won't be happening until I finish paying off the car next spring. Right now I very keen on keeping it strictly on pump gas. And maybe E85 if we ever get some up here in Canada. :mcry:

Thank you! There's a few more parts I'm still waiting on I'll be sure to take alot of pics when they come in!

Thank you sir! But in reality, the only original paint on the car is on the roof and hatch, everything else has been repainted due to vandalism or jdm bumpers, etc.. The bodyshops I've dealt with in the past for those jobs have butchered the car, so I'm currently still on the hunt for the right place to get the job done! Current progress...well there isn't any haha just waiting on the engine to come back from the builders, and looking for a body shop to paint the car. Any suggestions??
