well guys it has happened. Bruce "civic5lug" did the dirty deed with the stage2 cams. We have a issue with the valvespring tool but figured it and got thigs going. Some other friends showed up to give a helping hand. sorry if pic quality is not great in some

Now i did the tsx manifold install at home.

A couple of things that has to be done. You can not use the EP3 fuel rail. You need the crv, tsx, accord rail. The big piece in the center of the ep rail hits the mani. the piece on the other rails sits at the end instead of the middle. Be careful with the wiring as you need to move things around to get the TB sensor wires to reach. On the injector base, The waterport has to be cut and welded shut. unlike the rbc im left with a square hole and use the nipple fitting on the other end so i welded it closed.

Also you need the karcepts adapter for the TB.

the start

I took the rad support off. 4 bolts on top and 1 bolt behind on the bottom. Its right behind the sub frame where you can jack the car up.

TB is off and i did the TB coolant bypass. you can see the hose on the right in the pic behind where the tb would be.

everything is off now

The injector base is on now. Since this is 3 pieces its pretty easy to install this part.

Now the mani is on itself, as you can see, the TB sits very weird for any intake to work properly

http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a3/alpine192/7b03280b.jpg

everything is hooked up just about.

Now it is complete, Im going to try and have a cold air intake made up since nothing will work and i don't weld.

I cutup the my ram air intake and made it fit. i took 3 inches off the end and drilled a new hole for the sensor and made a holding bracket.

Sofar it sounds good and dose not leak. I get tuned this saturday.

Nice, I want cam's. Let us know what kind of power you put out. I might try this. I want the rbc but this might be better.

Very nice.

I heard the RBB is good for more low-midrange power.

Someone on k20a with a k24 put down good #s with this IM. He ported and polished tho.

Glad you got it all installed, cant wait to see your #'s.

I think with your stg2 cams, the PRB would have been the better mani while the RBB would have been better with the stg1's/stock cams.

The stg2 cams are more geared towards mid and top end power, matching the PRB's flow band, and the RBB mani is geared more towards lowend grunt. Sorta fighting each other now.

I think the better match for the RBC mani will be the stg3 cams.

But no matter what set-up you will use, it will make more power than previously.

2004EP3AHATCH asked me to update this thread.

The RBB intake manifold met a quick demise as a crack appeared in the intake manifold around the 1st runner area less than 24 hours after installation. It seems that the intake manifold was damaged during shipping and he didn't realize it until later this evening. He called and asked me to update this thread as he is lamenting his now broken RBB and reinstalling his PRB intake manifold until he finds something new. He says a "New Update" will be available in about a month.

nice writup john. Yea i thought it was shipping at first. I did ask jimmy james about it when i installed it. I probably made it worse when i tightened it a lil to much. I thought the jb weld would work but i don't think so so i just took it off. I don't want to risk it.

Its ok tho. I just need a new injector base which i can find. Not hard.

sorry guys but the stage 2's are in.
