Okay, so you know how the only thing that really keeps them from looking like the real deal is the lack of honeycomb in the corner?
Well how about you buy or use your old 04-05 headlights and take the plastic cover off and put it on your replicas?
The oem 04-05's have the honey comb piece
I donno what its attached to but i think you should be able to get it into your replcias

well if you are worried about leaking taking them apart yourself would be a good idea regaurdless, cause you could seal them back up yourself the right way.
If the honeycomb is on the clear plastic cover then it would be very easy, just switching the covers over and resealing.

I thought about this too, but would they fit? I'm wondering since the oem 04-05 lights have 2 "lobes" while the CTR ones have 3 "lobes". This might cause the shape of the honeycomb section to be slightly bigger or smaller.

I just ordered some depo replicas since my headlights got cracked, but when I get them I can try seeing if this is possible.

hmm.... very idea indeed. I'm just to lazy to try it. And if I did, i would to the tsx projector swap while I'm at it.

Maybe next year I'll try it.

this would be a great idea if a 04-05 owner was going to the DEPOs, but i think it'd be too much of a hassle to source 04-05 headlights for an 02-03 on top of buying the DEPOs...just for the honeycomb...

someone who's blacked out their 04-05s should chime in!

The questions i have for anyone whos taken apart 04-05 headlights are these:
When you take off the headlight cover is the honeycomb attached to it or is it attached to the little shield thingy that goes between the reflector and the cover.
If it is attached to the shield installation would require removing it via cutting or something, So you might as well trim it to shape and hotglue it into place or something.
If it wouldnt line up smoothly other options could include spraying it with amber tint spray or something to make it maybe less noticeable or something.

If anyone wants to try it refer your results here as well as a DIY so we can all see how hard it would be.

i see said the blind man.
Well, if i get your projectors I'll be sure to keep everyone posted how they come along.
I might look into just cutting some acrylic to the right shape and frosting it.

a little careful dremel work would do the trick, imo

but is the honey comb just sitting in there or is it attached to something??
