I'm ready to install my 440's and was told that they needed phenolic spacers. Is this accurate? If so, where can I get them? Thanks

I have 440 RC injectors. the only spacers i even have on the car that i put is for the fuel rail to sit higher and for the intake mani..

what brand do you have?

and as long as you have 12 ohm peak and hold injectors everything should be good only other thing i would suggest to do is lubricate the injectors o-rings with a high endurance dry lubricant.. i used a graphite based one.

hope that helps.

if you're asking me, then id say even with a good tune you may not need them in the a3... but that depends if your all bolts ons are like CAI/H/E , or if you got the works like bigger TB, Intake mani, and a fat straight pipe for example.

Fuel injectors do not add any additional WHP, all they do is provide the fuel. Injector tips and their spray pattern will have a impact on the WHP #'s.

But just going to a bigger injector will do nothing, and if you do not have Kpro then it will run like crap.

If you have just a K20A3 with bolt-ons then you do not need larger injectors yet. I see your profile says you have a JRsc, you may need the larger injectors with a race pulley.

I'm currently running stocks with jrsc - jr header - cai - catless - kpro - and switching to a 3.8" pulley

Is an aftermarket fuel rail worth the investment?

They are RC injectors

No.

^^^ yeah that ^^^

Most aftermarket fuel rails actually flow less than the stock rail, You will need to be over 350whp before you will need another fuel rail.

What can injector size be related to? Ex. if I plan on making X whp, I need Y sized injectors.

Just wondering if you can predict what injectors you need before you go to get tuned and realize yours are maxed out.
