red out or smoked out tails on my nhbp 04?

thinking about doing the red out on my tails but some people are telling me to go smoked out because my car is black. Now i dont want to go to dark so it would be about halfway tinted. I saw some pictures of myspace's car with the redded out tails and it looked great, if anyone has pics of a black ep with smoked out tails that would help out to....help!!! lol

yeah there is some mustang at my highschool with blacked out head lights, taillights, and 5%/10% tinted windows :thumbd:

Ive never been a fan of smoked tails, even if the car is black. My vote is for red.

I'd say it depends on the scheme of the car...

Sure alot of people have smoked out lights but thats just because they're an easy and fast change to your car.

I personally think they both look good!

ok so i redded them out yesterday when i got home from work and here is what they look like. I managed to match it up perfect with the red on the bottom of the taillight and you cant even tell other than a a ripple here and there but a good wetsanding will get rid of that. i think they look 1000 times better than the stock ones...i dont know why they didnt make them look like this in the first place
