I think this might be kind of helpful. How long do you warm your car up and have did(do) you experience any kind of oil consumption.

I warm my car up every morning until the revs are under 1k, but now I'm @ 1099 miles and my oil is down close to half way.

Ok - you just got the car, you will burn some oil over a small 15k miles range, and this will be normal. Acutually up until I changed
my oil to 5W30 did I find out that I no longer burn oil.(or nearly as much for that matter)

Warming the car up, I suggest you warm it until you can see
clearly out all the windows, no more.;)

I'm aware of the oil consumption myeverlovinsir, I just wanted to really see how long the majority warms the car up for. As a rule of thumb, I've always warmed my cars up until the revs are under 1k. However, I also have been told to not do this and that it's better to warm up for 10sec. and then take off. Supposedly, this makes the engine warm up faster which they say is best to do.

By the way, has the Butt Dyno made a difference with the heatshield gasket?

yeah did you ever catch another dyno after the hondata gasket install?

i wanna see what kind of gains it produces.

Well, my butt/dyno reads this as a gain, but a slight gain,
and I have not yet been to the dyno with it. I have patience.
My hondata dealer is having a hard time getting set up. He has
the dyno ready, just can't read hp yet. so the torque would
be a lame dyno imho. Will respond when I get the it done. I think there is gains to be had, even more so during the summer months.:)
