you can go to an auto body supply place, or some parts houses mix paint, and get single stage acrylic enamel. they sale these small guns that use an aerosol pressure canister, that are disposable. those work pretty good. scuff the surfaces with green scotch brite pads, to make sure that the paint adheres to the surface, and rinse the surface with water. also, if you want to make sure that you get good coverage of the lips, have the front tire bead broken down at a tire shop. don't mess with the rear bad. that way when you are finished painting them, you can wipe/spray the bead and inner rim with soapy water, and reseat the bead with an air compressor. and since you left the inner bead seated, you don't have to go back to the tire shop for rebalancing.

take one of your center caps to any sign shop and tell them to pull brandsoftheworld.com up and use http://www.brandsoftheworld.com/search/61876163/167411.html
or whichever one they want to use, isloate the ringed H and to cut them out in red vinyl, leaving about 3/16" from the corners of the logo to the edge of the center cap. thats what I did when I painted my stockies, and I used the same batch when I painted my HFPs.

make sure they cut extra. one 3 inch strip of vinyl on an 18 inch roll should be about 10 logos in a row. (I've worked with signs and graphics 14 years, so I know some stuff about it :mwink:) if they don't cut the extra logos, that vinyl is just wasted. also, if you only get 4 and you mess up, you're screwed.

Yup, ill be doing this mod too, was thinking of going with aircraft paint remover though instead of scrubbing.

No mention of clearcoat though?

And would you guys pain the INSIDE of the rim too?

Don't paint the mounting surface or the hub bore. Be sure to tape that off.

yep. I hit the wheels with glass bead, and scuffed the center caps with green scotch-brite.
