Will this turbo fit?

i have a friend who has some spare turbochargers for sale... he said he has a t3 (from who knows what), t3/t4 (again, doesn't remember what car it came out of), and 3 ko3's (from volkswagen GTI golfs)

he told me that he'll sell me one/help install it (he owns a garage) for $500... but will any of these fit on a totally stock K20A3? (i plan on getting kpro if i do this)

If you want to boost your car than your best bet is not to do short cuts.

Buy a kit that's made for the engine you have!

Sure, any turbo will fit as long as you have the proper manifold, downpipe, piping, oil feed/return, injectors, BOV, wastegate...uh...get the picture. By the time you get all that shit your "good deal" has turned into a "fucking nightmare" trying to source crap.

Do yourself a favor and buy a kit.

what do you think about top mount ic? i like it because it hides it, im sure it doesnt work as well as a front mount correct?

The first guy on here to the rotorex SC (can't remember his name) had one. I'm sure it'd be more prone to heatsoak and can't be nearly as large. You would need to accommodate the hood to allow fresh air to flow over it (wrx) .

Some people black out their FMIC, though, and put a grill mesh in front of it. Makes it a lot less noticeable. I rock mine out in the open.
