Ok i got my GC sleeves for koni shocks today but looking at the rear sleeve it doesnt have the little lock clip but is just machined inside like the top pic. so did i get sent the wrong sleeves and are they supposed be like the bottom pic?

i might pick up a set of used ground controls and want to make sure i get everything... do they come with anything besides the springs and perches?

depends.....the black part that is in the above pic is the rear koni adaptor kit( its a 20 kit but it comes at no cost if order the kit direct for koni's):mangel:

ya cuz my GCs didnt come with that black retainer in them nor in the box and they are for koni shocks. and i was like hmmm wtf? cuz the pictures of the GCs installed on konis have that black clip in them

mine came with o-rings, bumps stops for the front, and kindergarten instructions :mtongue:

what are the 0-rings for?

to keep the sleeve from moving around on the shock body by filling in the gap between the inside of the sleeve and the shock

o rings go one the ft to keep the sleeve from rattleing.

I ended up using duct tape under the GC sleeves to keep them from moving around. I did this on the front and rear.

so i called gc just to be sure and they said i neede the black adapter thing for the konis and they sent it out today :mredface:
