OK, the ep3 will handle like total crap if you drop it 2 inches with the h&r springs....sorry, thats in the design of the suspension. Do your self a huge favor and change out the dampers before you decide to drop it. STOOP is running a sale on the hft suspension kit that will drop your ep3 3/4th of a inch( the purfect hight) in the oem honda parts section.....road and track loved this kit!!!....for 650, it is the beast bang for the buck imo....:mangel:

If you do drop it, do yourself a favor and swap out the struts and shocks as well so you don't have to do it again.
I thought the Eibach Sportline springs were a good compromise for looks and handling.

if i drop it 2" with the H&r do i have to be worried about scratching the bottom and about bumps??? also, im not trying to spend more than $500 just to drop it. ima be putting 17"s on it. and ill be getting a camber kit front and rear.

if you care about performance, which is what you said in your first post, than you will not get it by lowering your car 2 inches on stock dampers. your car will handle worse than stock. so where is the performance?

I had skunk2's and my buddy had H&R's they both sagged. But we both had stock shocks. Whatever you get make sure to upgrade the shocks.

i don't know about skunk2 but get H&R!!!
My g/f has H&R on her '02 EP and there is no sag what so ever. She's had them for about 2.5 years now and about 25,000kms. No issues and car looks/handles great. It's on stock shocks as well. Obviously it would be better with new shocks, but I mean anything will be better if you upgrade it.

H&R i just installed H&R springs along with Tokico hp blues shocks, i love the look and the ride quality, yes it is much stiffer than the stock suspension but it handles so much better especially on highways.
would definitely recommend to do a professional alignment someone whose worked with camber kits and hondas, and make sure its done to the very precise
Before lowering my front, i first did the rear and drove it for couple of days, with stock front shocks and H Tech springs in the front and HP blues and H&R in the rear, ride quality was amazing super soft in the front and stiff in the rear, it would probably be a perfect combination for AutoX, but once i changed the front handling became much more solid and as i mentioned before, perfect ride quality for highway roads, not the city with tons of pot holes.
good choice with H&R springs
