Need a how to on usdm tails to type r tails

I remember there being a thread on using the usdm 02-03 tails and swapping the lights to make them function as type r lights. ie the top is the brake light and the sides are the blinkers

isnt there an outline of the socket in the tail light where you want your blinkers to go? if there is, which I'm pretty sure, exacto knife, razor blade and take your damn time doing it. If that doesnt work BUMP for some help.
