Cliffs:
Didnt come with proper hardware, doesnt allow for easy installation
Was worth the work, but was a major pain in the ass
Go for the steel mounts to avoid the problems.

Copied from another forum im on (bc im too lazy to type one up specifically for ephatch.)

Anyways, did my install on my motor mounts today, they made a huge difference already, that being said it was a complete nightmere. First off this mount comes in steel and billet, most people get the steel bc it costs less, I got the billet cause it looks cool to be totally honest. So anyways with the steel mounts it would have been an hour and a half install tops (including dropping the race header out of the way.

But the real problem was the drivers side mount because you cannot move the bracket that goes from the motor mount to the top transmission out of the way. This would have been possible with the steel mounts easily but bc of this it was impossible to get bolts to go into the correct area and took about 20 modifications of them and moving the bracket around and each bolt had to be put in with a wrench with about 2degrees of movement.

Then to make matters worse, I dont have a second vehicle to use anymore since we sold the old truck, so basically i had to put back on the passenger mount once to go to lowes to get the proper metric bolts that were longer. If I had gotten the steel kit this would not have been an issue as well and could have just reused the old hardware.

But anyways its done, now to tackle the next project brakes :) (probably next monday (but its labor day so who knows if they have the part in if I would be able to get it.) and tuesday since im having to wait a couple days for the caliper rebuild kits to come in).

Not too much to the old ones I'd have to say (might explain my wheel hop problem)

The car only vibrates when the AC is on and the car is idling, I almost always drive with the windows down, and dont do alot of city driving, although just raising the RPMS a bit gets rid of the vibration, and its supposed to get better over time with these mounts as they settle in apparently. My WHEEL HOP is GONE!!!!!! Also the shifts feel smoother, and it generally feels like the car is much much more connected to the road than it was before. This install would not have been possible without the new tool set.

GOOD DEAL MAN, but I recently installed the innovative mounts as well (including the front) and man, the back one sags, causing more vibrations then need be. Lemme know if yours starts to sag as well. I got about 2K miles on mine.

I have done a bunch of these sets and always have problems with the tranny mount holes lining up...always have to grind them larger to fit. Its about an hour and a half job though.

I had issues with the front mount holes lining up, with the bolt pattern, but it was probably due to the coating they applyed to it (steel set) so nothing a dremel didnt take care.

The set I have on my car didnt require any fiddling, filing or drilling. They went on easy as pie. BUT the passenger side sags alot and the engine isnt sitting squarely in the engine bay. So far they are the best fitting mounts I have used, but there is a set of AVID's on their way for comparison.

Lucky Dog! I was able to get one set on just barely but ended shoving a rat's tail rasp in the holes anyway just cuz it was barely fitting and wanted to use my fingers instead of a wrench most of the way.

Liquid you should have hollered at me for help next time.

The esmm were a significant difference, but I am looking to upgrade. was thinking of getting a set of these for a while now.

Damn hippies, all working on their cars all barefoot...what, got a special tree to hug right there in the garage??!...:gheywa:

Anyway, looks like the passenger side mount is two pieces? That seems strange, if it's the case. I'd think that would make the mount inherently weaker than if it were a one piece design.

If so, aren't there mounts out there that are one piece? It just seems like that would probably contribute to the sagging problems that some folks seem to have.

Please, correct me if I'm wrong, as this is one of the many "small" mods I've been looking in to in the quest for improved EP3.

He he he, nah i was I took those pictures after i was done and got grease or some crap on my work shoes and didnt want to track it into the house. :)

They fit fine (hole wise that is) and if they would have been the steel mounts this would have been an easy install its just that they way the billet mount is on the drivers side wont allow the bracket to move out of the way which forces you to have to do some crazy things to get he bolts back in, plus innovative didnt include the correct hardware for everything.

Im planning on doing a DIY for it when i get back on my own computer (monitor crapped out) when my new one gets here.
