EP03

It was suggested that I post here when I could...guess now I can. This is up in another part of the forum as well for those of you who have already viewed the original post.

Been floating around here for years as my g/f has had an EP3 for about 4 years now (and guess who had to figure out how to fix/mod it?), so I figured now would be a fitting time to join...especially since I just bought one myself!

Haven't picked the car up yet and probably wont until this weekend, but here are some shots I took a few weeks ago when I looked at it. It's never seen snow and is rarely driven in rain...a shame since it will become my dedicated daily, but rust proofing works wonders!

Here's the pics:

It's a 2003, clearly VBP with about 96,000kms on it. It's actually owned by my g/f's dad, so I know where it's coming from at least. Amsoil since new as well as constant maintenance when needed. Other than that, it's stock...for now.

Here's my current toy, aka, the track toy/garage queen:

Nice and clean - both of them. You obviously take real good care of your cars.

Nope, they have 2 EP's. My g/f has a NHBP '02 with 44,000kms on it, never winter driven with H&R Springs and Kosei K1 17's (gifts...aren't I a nice guy?) and an AEM intake and Magnaflow exhaust. Her Dad got one the year after her because he liked her's so much. His is the '03 VBP with the HFP kit (GFX package in Canada). He commuted with his for a few years before retiring it to the garage. For the last 3 years it's maybe been driven 2,000-3,000km a year. Total mileage is about 96,000kms. That's the one I'm getting.

Yep. This pic is from 2006 on a ghetto digital camera. I'll snap some later on the SLR.

Thanks!

It does OK at autox...the setup is right, but I just have issues each event and run anyways. Car is quirky. The long circuits though it cleans up. I've put 9sec on a 2000 Corvette at a 4.32km technical track. It's fast in the big turns and has near perfect factory gearing. So far I've managed 2 brake fires in 2 years with it! The EP is next!
