Ok so i just looked at all the maps offered with kpro and i see that there is a "stock k24 accord" map and was wondering if this would be a better bet to use then the street tuned map that i have been useing? Since i have a k24a1 and the accord has the k24a4 is almost the same. could i upload that map?

Id say give it a shot, I doubt it would be worse then running the stock k20a3 kal. Man I wish I had Kpro to play with lol.

I wish i could take it an have it tuned but i don't have another 400 bucks to have jason tune it again. Right now i have the k20a3 map street tuned and i have the knocks down to around 14 at wot from 2000rpms to redline. I just wish they had a stock k24a1 map. From what i have been told the a1 an a4 are the same except for the rods and pistons. So i don't see why the a4 map would not work fine for the a1. I can't believe no one has a map for a stock k24a1.

That tune with some street tuning should work fine.

Is the only real diffrence between the two motors the intake manifold?

a minor diff with the pistons, think of it as the difference between the base RSX and the EP3's A3 engine's for the most part with the IM.

I wonder why they did not make a map for the a1. It would seem like they would do it since people are swaping them.

ok i'm gunna try the map tonight, one question tho. on the accord map i see that the overall fuel trim is at 30% and the cranking trim is at 60% with the 270cc injectors. I am running rc550's, do i need to set the overall trim to 0% and do the same with cranking trim?

I would just set injector size to 550, Kpro compensates for injector size automatically. After seeing how it runs, just adjust all maps for what is set on the overall fuel trim and set the OFT at 0. As for the starting trim i would take it alot closer to zero and see how it works.

ok so leave the 30%fuel trim there and see how it runs first, right? and then after i adjust the fuel tables with the overall trim at 30% then set it to 0%? Or just put it at 0% and tune from there?

Well do a datalog and see what it looks like, if it appears to be fat everywheres remove the fuel from the overall fuel trim and then do another untill you have to start tuning individual tables.

Some street tuning will be required I am sure.

Ok so i spent an hour street tuning a diffrent base map that i smoothed out and i got it down to zero knock under all conditions. I am very happy with this as of now but i'm sure i could do a few other things to help it out. I tried the "stock k24 accord base map" and my temp. sensor would not work and it knocked like crazy. So if anyone want's a base map for a stock k24a1 with exhaust. This might be a good safe start. Let me know what you think.

So far so good. I picked up 2-4 knocks at 2700-3000rpm's at part throttle in the 30 degree cam so i'm gunna retard it one degree in that area and hope it will fix it. Seems to be much smoother now. I'm may be a bit on the rich side but not by much and i'd rather be safe then sorry.
