Title says it all. Some guy at 7thgencivic says they're the same rims? Any truth to that?

I don't believe that they are, as far I know the only Civic that comes with actual aluminum alloy wheels is the Civic Si. I could be wrong, but I don't believe that was true!!!

hmmm...I'd like to know for sure. Anyone else know?

Perhaps show some pics?

My friend has a Civic EX with 15" alloy rims. They are available as an accessory from the dealer, just like the spoiler is.

2002 Civic Si coupe and the 2002 Si Veloz ones in Canada all come with the same wheels as our 02 SiR's. I've seen dozens of them driving around already with those wheels, and my dealer has the cars sitting in front of the building.

See the specs here: 2002 Civic Coupe (http://english.honda.ca/models/civic_coupe_features.asp)

Not a problem SmoothOperator.

Out of curiosity, may I ask why you wanted to know. You can PM me if you want, or then again you don't have to tell me. :) Just being nozzy.

By the way, how much do you think a good price would be (in Canadian dollars) to sell the original wheels with the tires?

Well that's just it. My dealership told me to accept no less than $1500 (Canadian) for them. I've been asking $1300 and I think that's still pretty high. I dunno, at the same time, I don't want to part with them just in case. If nobody's willing to pay that much I'll just keep em...all the same to me.

Thanks for the info, I've been asking $1000 for them, but with no luck since the tire size is only good for Civic's 2001 up. Many people have offered to buy just the rims for a 2000 down Civic, but I don't really want the tires alone. If anything I would sell the tires by themselves and then put good winter ones on the stock rims.

My EPs gettin stored in the winter. I'm driving an 87 toyota tercel in the meantime. I'm really not looking forward to it.

I sold my EP wheels/tires on eBay for $515 US (not including shipping). Another person ended up selling theirs for the same price. Probably not what they are worth but something is better than nothing, especially since they would have just sat in my garage and collected dust. Also, I needed the $$$ to help pay for my new wheels/tires. ;)
