Hey all,

When you got the custom midpipe done, do they use new flanges, or just weld the new pipe to the stock ones. Thanks

it is easiest and cheaper to use the stock flanges, and they work pretty good, the rear flange is pretty large as well, about 2.25" on the rear section. So if you don't mind cutting off the flanges I say re-use them.

Thanks JSIR! I'm planning on getting it done today with crushed bent tubing. Actually, I'm contemplating the idea of getting the Buddy Club system but having a hard time justifying spending all that money.

I actually told them I wanted to keep the stock pipe, so they made new flanges for me, something to think about, specially if yer likely to trade in car at some point...

i recommend keeping the OEM flanges in place. New one arent that much money extra so might as well get them and keep the stock pieces tucked away for when the CTR comes to the states :) -- joe.

get new flanges! If you ever need to switch back to the old mid-pipe for any reason, you'd be happy you didn't cut off the old ones.
