just got done putting mobile 1 full syn. oil on my 03 si. i use 5 bottle is tis good. how many are you suppose to use

about 4.5.... i use 5 because of the turbo

yeah 4.5 is what most of us use. the turbo guys sometimes use a tiny bit more just to be safe. manual actually calls for 4.4 quarts if i remember correctly.

I think it's 4.4 without the oil filter or something.

4 1/2 quarts is what I always used... Mobil 1 of course...

btw: also make sure that you are checking your oil level under operating temperature. After the oil change, do a quick drive around the block and wait till it gets to operating temperature (reading from the temp gauge) and then check the dipstick.
Cold oil will screw with the reading making it read the oil being too high when its actually a bit low. (read about the viscosity of oil if you are too unsure)

I've used almost the whole bottle, putting about 4.7 in. Where actually should the dipstick read the oil at? between the 2 dots??

mine not past the 2 dots just below the second dot where should the oil be at on the dip stick

It should be between the two dots.
