Speedometer problem

Ok well I did my transmission swap two weeks ago and two days ago my speedometer started triping out on me. I believe my speed sensor is bad now because on a nice hot day the speedometer jumps around erratically sometimes 9 mph spike and drop, it averages about 4 mph spike and drop. I ordered a new speed sensor but please help if I am wrong in assuming it is going out.:mcry:

Make sure the connector pins are clean and that they fully seat.

I will do this. It really only seems to do it when it is hot 95+ degrees out. Last night cruising for 4 hours and it was 100% fine and dandy.

I have the same issue after my swap. still trying to figure it out.

Yeah it is really odd that before it was ok now it is fluctuating soo much. I figure that I may as well order a new one just in case it is going out.
