So i had an idea to make the mugen grill part of my bumper, since i was gonna repaint it anyways, i could sand the bumper down and bondo on the mugen grill.

So i started to look for a mugen grill and i found someone who already did it:mfrown:

But i reallllly reallly like it.
Anyone else do it?

yeah. and without the mugen emblem, and an 04-05 non red H it could still look stock

the 04 05 mugen grill does not have the H.
Just the mugen emblem.
But i want it to look semi stock, so im gonna buy an H off the Odyssey, its the same size as the 04 05 jdm H but not red.

the mugen grille has a removable center piece where the "H" goes...that's what i was referring to...

you cant just bondo it onto the bumper it will crack right away....

VW guys use plastic welders to fill in fog light wholes or to shave stuff on their bumpers for a cleaner look.

have you ever done body work before? Its not an easy task. i'm going to be doing this to my JDM bumper soon as i find a Mugen Lip.

Wouldnt recomend trying that the mugen lip moves a little and its not lightweight either...with all the factors of wind and bumps its not gonna work on the lip...but if its a show queen i guess it could be done

not molding a front lip to my car just the grill. not going to mold a grill without having a lip.

too low anyways.

Im not just gonna slap some bondo on there, paint it, and call it a day. Im really gonna do work on it to make sure it turns out really well. I just figured there is no need to go into detail on how to do it here.

That actually looks really good, but like said before youll have to do more than just bondo it. I would epoxy it to the bumper than fiberglass it smooth, using as little bondo as possible for final touch ups.
