View Full Version : does anyone here know. (top fuel exhaust)

so heres my situation.. i bought a top fuel exhaust brand new in box from a member on crsx, for an rsx type-s.. so today i try to put it on.. and theres like an 11 inch gap missin from the pipe and the resonator and when i try to put the muffler on the triangular rubber hanger part has to come off.. so i finally gave up and someone on crsx said that its for an ep3.. so im here asking anyone here if they know if its for an ep3.. heres pics of it next to my stock exhaust

I don't think that's for the ep3. If it is then it's missing something.

Type S has a longer cat and shorter mid pipe. Always read the stickies on this forum.

well it looks like that stock exhaust is from a type s, so if they are about the same length then its for a type s

yup. you need a header & cat from a rsx-s to use that exhaust.

He said its SUPOSED TO BE FOR A TYPE S but it doesnt fit his car A RSX TYPES.....and thinks it may be for an EP3 not the other way around.

That is a RSX midpipe, cat/midpipe flange is right at the bend, the EP3's extendes forwards another 3". Another dead giveaway that the TS's exhaust is a RSX is the fact the muffler extends much further past the hangers(RSX bodywork extends another 5-6")

Here is a pic of a EP3 midpipe, redline about 1" rear of the typeS flange location.

Could you be missing a portion of the cat/header?
