Ok so recently when I started my car the light would flash 3 times and go away. Today driving home i noticed it stayed on. What could it be? The car is 2004 si with 17,xxx miles. Its lowered on s techs/tokiko struts. I went to uninstall the front sway bar and the end link was rusted on drivers side and it clicks on a bump but drives fine. Got new endlink but have not installed. It has hks grounding kit and fujita cold air. I changed the oil like i was supposed to, all fluids are good, car smells, sounds fine. I took off the negative cable to battery and it still is on. What should I do? Is there a reset like the older honda's with the key?

Check this out, works like a charm:

Mine was on for like 10sec after i started my car and according to that information it just comes on based on a cirten number of miles driven after the last time it was re-set. So its really nothing except annoying...

it kinda defeats the purpose of using synthetic oil. the main benefit is to extend the service interval. if your just gonna throw it out every 2k miles there is no point. this topic has been done to death on here so ill leave it alone, either way it doesn't hurt me.

werd up!

there's no point in changing your oil @ 2500 even using conventional, but i guess if you have the cash and the time...
