i have the basic bolt on's I/RH/E (k20a3). im looking forward on my next step which im thinking of doing a k24a1 head swap. i know it fits and all i need is a head gasket from the a3 and an exhaust gasket for the k24a1 also i know i have to get k-pro to run this head correctly and safely but my question is; is it worth it? meaning the gain for it's price. im pretty sure i can find the head for cheap. im also thinking once i get this head to do cams, valve's etc.

so any suggestions or advice? plz dont tell me to swap my a3.

thank you in advance.

Future plans: jrsc:mbiggrin: (later on :mcry: )
thats why im considering to get k-pro now.

I would just do what these guys have already said, get a full K24A1. A full swap is actually easier and so much less of a headache.

Just so you know, replacing the head with the engine in the car will cost more in labor than a full swap. And if the shops in your area cant be trusted for a swap, I certainly wouldnt even consider letting them into the internals to swap the head!!!!!
