So i was shopping around k20.org and I saw some HyTech cams for sale. I'm really thinking about picking these bad boys up. What do you guys think. I'll have to get some supertech springs and retainers but that should be a problem since our wholesaler is now a supertech dealer.

as of now
k24a1 with 11.5/1 compression
TSX head with type s cams and Valve train

I really think the added duration of the cams will really increase the power this motor will make. And with only a slight increase in lift they should be safer, and easier on the valve train.

She will be a snotty bitch. What header are you gonna use?

"Unless it is Hytech or IPS it aint worth installing"!

Right now i'm rocking the worst of the worst with the DCRH. So you think its not worth the trouble to install the cams. That surprises me, because i thought the the short duration of the 2.0l cams was really holding my motor back.

Along witt the crappy header and small throttle body.

It may be a cheap-ass header, but it works well. Those cams will work with that header, but will work better with a top shelf header is all. Absolutely nothing wrong with those cams and header. I would also highly consider a MaxBored TB.

What are you referring too when you say it will be a "Snotty bitch"?

Snotty bitch as in nasty, as in not taking prisoners, as in sounding the part.

A Snotty bitch usually has an attitude and can back it up.

She will have a slightly lumpy idle, and will shred tires off the line.

Snotty, probably isnt the cleanest analogy out there,,,all drippy nosed and such! LOL But it isnt about a drippy nose at all, just a snotty attitude! LOL

None of us want to be on the receiving end of a Bitch's snotty attitude!
