Replica RH

As I’m sure people have noticed that OBX RHs looks to be replica RHs, I’ve seen three models. One RH looks to be a DCRH replica while another looks to be a CTRH replica. I’ve seen a third OBX RH and I’m wondering what replica RH it is? And also if anyone has used this RH with an A2, as it looks like it would produce more gain up top then the DC and CT replica.

I'd love to post a picture but I'm at work and can't view pictures. I'm talking about the one that does not look like the DC or CT RH it has longer runners.

It says Type-S, so I think it's a Type-R replica..... but I could be wrong..... Without the actual pic of the header you're talking about its kinda hard to determine.

i would look into the race headers offered over on clubep3.net

here is on they are offering... it's a type s RH with a high flow cat already with it... seems to be a JRRH replica...

ya... that one is a comptech replica... i'd say go for it... but before hitting the send payment button, i'd ask that guy all the questions you're wanting to know first...

Does Comptech not come with another piece that attaches to the collector and turns the pipe in a different direction? It does not look like that RH has that part in that thread or on eBay link. Are you sure it’s a CTRH replica?

which of these replicas do you guys think is best? I heard the JRRH was pretty good, so I think I'm going to buy the Vibrant w/o the cat and just weld a universal cat into the test pipe. It's cheaper that way.

I've got the CTRH replica from OBX and will be installing it soon, it looks like it should match up nicely though. its in two peices, one main header with long long primarys and then long secondaries coming together right at the donut gasket coupling with the very short second peice.

I believe the TS is speaking about the v.3 of the OBX race header, which seems to be a comptech replica with a flex pipe (1 peice design). I have this header. Here's pics. The header has performed much better then I expected, besides the minor clearance issue I had with the K24 and the sway bar, and the minor bumping that has been modified to not beat on the bottom of my car, it works and looked great. Not to mention a cheap alternative to the other $400+ RH's.

BTW, if you went with the OBX, id say get the V.2 which is a comptech replica that is a 2 peice design, that seems to be the overall favorate, but finding it is another thing.
