I'm just in love with the styling of the 04-06, really. It's sort of pathetic that I drive a car arguably better than my "dream car" and still just want the latter.

Yeah, but around my town the only thing you have to do to be unique is not beat the crap out of your car and put k-mart parts on it. I think if I just did really clean modding to a DC5, it would get just as many if not more looks than my EP.

Exactly! It makes no sense at all, and they are definitely overrated. But I'm in love, and it's been this way since before I bought my EP two years ago. So it doesn't seem like passing fancy at this point. If I could get a straight up trade, I would do it in a second.

I think the most logical solution is to hold off till I graduate (year and a half at this rate), then see if I still want one. I'll have graduation gifts, hopefully some sort of a job lining up, and it would be a much better time for a change of vehicle.

speaking of a VQ. Buy a 02-06 Sentra and take the QR25 out and drop in a VQ35 out of the Maxima. Right out of the box with no mods that swap will get you into the 12's. At least thats what my bros Sentra does. Slap on an Intake and full exhaust.

The VQ full swap can be done for about 5k too. Talk about a sleeper.

Plus a sentra that sounds like a Z is the sex.

i would keep what you have, which is a nice setup, and decide what you want after you graduate. trust me, i worked full time and had a full time job in college and i made it work, but take the advise bro. stick with what you got, its nice, quick and you don't have to start at square one again until you have yourself situated and a good steady income.

Yeah, that sounds like a much better idea. Would make much more sense to hold out a year or two.

We all know money is an issue and you gotta think of all the little things that will be more expensive like insurance, premium gas (if you get a type-s, but a standard dc5 wouldn't make much sense), etc. Like you said, finish school, get a good job and I'm sure by then you'll be looking at nicer cars.

He has the HFP kit as well. All he has to do is get rid of the 02/03 headlights and shit would be ballin. Get some projectors, the Depos are pretty cheap.

Yeah Kodeen (because for a second here I'm drawing a blank on your name) I thought about doing the HID thing, it just always seems confusing when I read those threads, and I don't have that kind of money sitting around. That, new wheels, and a drop, and I'd be pretty much thrilled with the way my car looks. I just like what you can do with DC5's more, but that's life. There's always gonna be something else.

I've owned both and I enjoyed the EP's interior much more. So much more that I think I'll buy another one this summer or next. The location of the shifter is priceless in the EP.
