I think this might be my problem too. After getting the car lowered, it started making horrible rubbing/creaking noises, so I crawled underneath and see that the rear sway bar (stock) is touching the left control arm.

Before I get started flipping it over, is there anything I should know about installing it? Torque specs, tips, tricks, etc? (I'm not the one who put it on upside down)

wd-40 is your friend. if you live in the snow you may want to look into getting replacement endlinks as many members have had to cut theirs off due to the rust. but before you go tearing your car apart, take a pic of it. this way we can see if it actually is installed upside down or if it may be something else..

Here it is:

That is mounted upside down. The left and right side need to be swapped with each other, ie flipped.

yea that is definatley upside down, before you take it off i would get another set of oem endlinks because those look rusted on and your best bet is to just break them off to save you time and frustration trying to save those

Lol, you're totally right-the bolt and nut just spin freely together on the endlinks. I'm thinking I may just order an aftermarket sway bar while I'm at it. As far as the endlinks are concerned, should I go with oem or aftermarket?

after you flip it, check clearance with the gas fill tube.

go with oem endlinks, a lot of people have problems with aftermarket ones coming loose

OEM have worked fine for me with my progress rear sway. i remember hearing somewhere bout metal endlinks but i never found a link..

Got quoted $123 for 2 oem endlinks. Does anyone know if the price for the corsport links is for 1 or 2? If its for 2 I'm getting those.

i have heard of corsports coming loose, i wouldnt get anything but oem or possibly moog

I somehow got the old link free and got the bar flipped over! Took a test drive, the noise is gone and nothing fell apart.

Looks much better now

great! also if you look at the shape of the bar, it's curved specifically to provide clearance.
