hey, well i have my ep3 for a bit and i want to get some more out of it.

question 1: is the stock ecu on a k20a3 tuneable? my local car gang is gonna do a mass dyno/tuning day and i want to know if i would be able to tune it at all.

question 2: is it possible to put a k20a/2 head on a k20a3 to get some more compression, hp, and real i-VTEC. i am planning to do a k24a2/k20a/2 frankenstein and would build it up slowly and was wondering if the head would be useful on my k20a3 for the time being.

so basically.
can the stock ecu on a k20a3 be tuned?
can a k20a/2 head be put on a k20a3 and how much needs to be done?

1. No, there is no way to tune a stock ECU, you need Kpro to adjust the tune.

2. the A2 head will bolt on, again you need Kpro. And your current A3 does indeed have "real" I-VTEC, the 2 lobe economy version, but I-VTEC nonetheless.
